It's like if the main actor died during filming just after ending a season on a massive cliffhanger. Consequences caught up with Kevin Spacey and thus forced the direction of the show. Season 6 is pretty much on par with season 5. Apparently they threw out their original plans when Trump took office. But it started trying to out crazy real life which is ALWAYS a mistake. If it had ended there, I could see it landing on best TV series of all time list for many years. Season 3 was weak, but combined with season 4, sorta paid off. Couldn't stop watching or thinking about it.
